What a sale earns you
Personal ($79) earns about $37.72, Pro ($169) earns about $80.92, and a Personal buyer who later upgrades to Pro ($90) earns you about $43.00 more. That is 50% of the price after the payment fee; where the buyer pays sales tax or VAT, it is taken off first. SmoothCut is a one-time purchase, so there are no renewals to wait for.
Tracking that works for a desktop app
Most people download SmoothCut, try it for a few days, and buy from inside the app. Cookie-only affiliate tracking loses those sales. Ours follows the referral from your link to the download, into the app on its first launch, and from the app to checkout, so a sale is credited to you whether it happens in the same browser an hour later or in the app two weeks later. The first affiliate to refer someone keeps them.
Getting paid
Your account shows every click, download, install and sale, and what is pending and due. Commission becomes payable 14 days after a sale, once the refund window has closed, and is paid by PayPal once a week when your balance is $25.00 or more. Payouts are sent by a person, so one may now and then be a few days late; it is always paid in full.
