Who makes SmoothCut

SmoothCut exists because the screen recorders that make a demo look good were either Mac-only, sold by the month, or uploaded everything to the cloud. Making a product demo look produced meant an afternoon in a video editor: adding the zooms by hand, steadying the cursor, cleaning up the sound and typing captions. SmoothCut does that work for you, on your own computer, on macOS and Windows, and you buy it once.

It launched in 2026. It is built in the open: every release is in the changelog, and what comes next is on the roadmap.
