Studio voice

Your voice, without the room.

Most recordings are let down by the audio before anyone judges the picture: a fan, a hum, a voice that drifts quiet. Studio voice fixes that on your own computer, and it is on by default.

  • Neural noise removal, on-device
  • Levelling and a gentle presence lift
  • Three strengths, or off
  • You hear it in the editor, not only in the export

How it works

Studio voice, step by step

  1. 01

    A trained denoiser

Steady background noise -- fans, air conditioning, hum -- is removed by a neural model rather than a simple gate, so the ends of your words are not chopped off.

  2. 02

    Then levelled and warmed

Once the noise is out, the voice is evened out so quiet passages are not lost, with a gentle lift where speech needs to be clear.

  3. 03

What you hear is what exports

The processing runs in the editor's playback, not only at export, so you can judge the strength with your own ears before you commit.

Studio voice: questions

Do I need a good microphone?

A better microphone always helps, but Studio voice is built for the one you already have: a laptop or headset mic in an ordinary room.

Is my audio uploaded to be cleaned?

No. The denoiser runs on your computer.

Can I turn it off?

Yes. Choose one of three strengths, or switch it off entirely.
