Auto fix, step by step

It reads the recording first
Auto fix looks at what the recording actually contains and decides which steps apply, saying why each one is in or out. A recording with no camera does not get a camera layout.

You approve the plan
Before anything changes you see the list of steps. Switch off the ones you do not want and run the rest.

Nothing is hidden from you
What Auto fix does is what you could have done by hand: cuts on the timeline, zoom blocks, a layout, a sound setting. Adjust any of them, or undo the lot.
Auto fix: questions
Will it ruin my recording?
No. Auto fix only adds ordinary, editable edits on the timeline. The original recording is untouched and every step can be undone.
Does it need the internet?
No. Like the rest of SmoothCut it runs on your computer.
Can I use it and still edit by hand?
Yes. Most people run Auto fix first and then adjust a zoom or restore a cut they wanted to keep.
