- Cursor smoothing SmoothCut records your cursor as data, so after recording you can smooth its movement, make it bigger, change its style and add click effects, without re-recording.
- On-device captions SmoothCut turns your voice into word-timed captions with a speech model that runs on your own computer. Download the model once; after that it works offline and nothing is uploaded.
- Studio voice SmoothCut's Studio voice removes steady background noise with a neural denoiser that runs on your computer, then levels and warms your voice. What you hear in the editor is what exports.
- Auto fix SmoothCut's Auto fix reads a recording and plans the edit: silences, filler words, zooms, layout and sound. You read the plan before it runs, and every step is an ordinary edit you can undo.
- Camera layouts Record screen and camera together and arrange them afterwards: picture-in-picture, side by side, stacked for vertical video, or camera fullscreen. Switch layout mid-video from the timeline.
- Backgrounds and frames Put your screen recording on a wallpaper, a gradient, a colour or your own image, with padding, rounded corners and a shadow, and smooth fast movement with motion blur.
- Share links Press Share in SmoothCut and a link is on your clipboard while the video uploads. Viewers react and comment at a timestamp; you can password-protect the link, republish to it, or let it expire.
