Activating

Your key arrives by email after purchase. Open SmoothCut, go to Settings → Licence, paste the key, and press Activate. That computer can now export.

Personal and Pro

A Personal licence keeps working after the year. It just stops receiving releases published after that date.

Moving to a new computer

Open Settings → Licence on the old computer and choose Remove licence from this computer, or remove it from Devices on this site. Then activate the new one.

Offline

Activation needs the internet once. After that the licence is checked on your computer. The app checks in quietly every couple of weeks when it can, and gives a month of grace if it cannot.
